We are happy to offer a Breakfast Club facility at St George’s which is very popular with both our children and parents alike.  Children arrive from 8am and are offered a healthy breakfast, followed by activities and games. Our Breakfast Club co-ordinator is Mrs Dickinson and she is supported by Mrs Boswell and Mrs Beighton.

The children enjoy breakfast together and are then able to play games indoors - these include board games, arts and crafts, and use of the Wii and iPads.  If the weather is good they may go outside for sports and activities on the school playground.  The children love using this time after breakfast to play supervised by the adult staff.  From 8.45am the children help the staff to pack away and come in ready to go to class to start their school day.

At St George’s we are very proud of our Breakfast Club as we feel it helps to support our parents and ensures our children have a good start to the day, helping to support their learning in class.  Places are free for any child booking up to 3 days per week as these are funded directly by school.  Parents are very welcome to book their child a place for additional days at a cost of £2.50 per day payable in advance.
